  Hoftname issu d’un double nom de baptême

En ce lieu se trouvait une très belle ferme alsacienne du 18ème siècle, domaine de la famille Debs. Devenu propriétaire vers 1820, François Joseph "d'Franz Sepp", né en 1793, a légué le hoftname à cette demeure.

 Entstanden durch einen doppelten Taufnamen

Hier stand ein sehr schönes elsässisches Bauernhaus aus dem 18. Jhd., Wohnhaus der Familie Debs. Gegen 1820 wurde der im Jahre 1793 geborene François Joseph „d’Franz Sepp“ Eigentümer und hinterließ dem Gebäude diesen Hofnamen.

 From a double Christian name

There used to be a very nice alsatian farm of the 18th century in this place, an estate belonging to the Debs family. When he became the landlord in about 1820, François Joseph "d'Franz Sepp", born in 1793, gave the hoftname as a heritage to that dwelling.
